WORSHIP &
MUSIC
The Church of the Valley has a multifaceted musical approach to worship through music. Our combination of praise music, contemporary Christian music, and traditional hymns satisfies myriad worship styles. Chris Rosenberg and Eric Mounts lead the high energy contemporary Christian music replete with drums and electric guitars & keyboards. Pastor Mike Price leads our praise music, and his raspy voice and southern style give life and energy to our praise music. Ken Mahood, Ph.D, Ed.D, holds a Ph.D. in music theory and a Ph.D. in music performance and has performed at the White House and with Billy Graham, and studied musical composition with noted American composer Aaron Copland. Dr. Mahood puts this talent into action while performing and while leading our choir and orchestra.
JOIN OUR CHOIR & ORCHESTRA. If you want to be a part of the choir or orchestra, simply indicate your interest on a RESPONSE CARD, found in the bulletin, drop it in the offering plate and one of our pastors will contact you. The EDGE is a contemporary style worship service led by the lead guitarist from the hard rock Christian rock group Stryper. Join us on Saturday nights at 6:00pm at The Church of the Valley for contemporary music and sharing in the Word.
