First Visit
Are you researching different church websites to determine if you want to visit them? If so, you are at the right place!! We know you have questions and we want to try to answer as many as we possibly can quick and easily. We've included the answers to common questions, but if you don't find what you're looking for here, please feel free contact Pastor Chuck at 540-984-4338. If you prefer email, contact Beth Speidel at Bspeidel@adelphia.net.
What can I expect?
You can expect a lot of activity because we have so many exciting programs and ministries operating on Sunday mornings. People from the surrounding counties of Shenandoah, Frederick, Warren, Loudoun, Clarke and Rockingham come together every on our weekend services to worship God and enjoy community with one another, and we'd love to have you join us.
The service starts at 10:45AM and lasts about an hour and a half. During the service you'll have the opportunity to worship God through music and to be encouraged through the teaching and reading of God's word.
Sunday School starts at 9:30AM with classes for children through adult. We also have nursery available.
The front doors open into a large gathering area in the foyer. The sanctuary will be straight ahead of you, immediately to your right is our Welcome Center where you can find the answers to any specific questions, such as classrooms for children and the location of the nursery. The educational wing is to the right. We have our Sunday School classes for 1st graders through high school as well as our Children’s Church where 1st grade through 6th grade meet during worship service. Immediately to your left is the area dedicated to our nursery and preschool. All nursery age and preschoolers (newborns through age 5) go to this area for Sunday School as well as during service. There is a sign in area there for all of our children where parents will receive coordinated numbers assigned to their children.
What should I wear?
Be comfortable. This really isn't a big concern to anyone here. You can dress up if you'd like or dress casual as you may desire.
Are there classes for children?
Yes. We have a nursery and a toddler room for the little ones; for children ages kindergarten to grade 5 we have classes, where kids enjoy games and a lesson while you are in a service. We have a children's check-in, and all our staff and volunteers have gone through a screening process that ensures your children are in safe care.
For teens in 6th grade-12th grade we have a dynamic and high-energy youth group.
