IN HIS IMAGE - Our mission is to empower the entire family, exalt the dreams
of children with special needs and eliminate the barriers they face. We are
focused on ministering to our loved ones within the church body as well as
reaching out to the entire community with current and vital programs.
NURSERY, CHILDREN & YOUTH MINISTRIES
The quality of our Nursery, Children & Youth Ministries is
one of the main things we are known for throughout
the valley. Our children and youth not only
learn all about Jesus, but they come to know him. We teach them the Bible and they
learn how to apply biblical principles to their

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL- We have several options for adults to get involved in weekly Sunday school classes including Young Married's and Contemporary Issues.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY- Women need to talk,
get together, share, cry and just be real together!
That is what the women do here at The Church of the
Valley.
GIDEON'S ARMY- The
men of The Church of the Valley meet regularly together
for a simple purpose: to become better men, while
growing closer to Jesus.
J.ust O.lder Y.outh CLUB
- We are glad to offer our seniors
ongoing activities and get-together's to allow plenty
of time for fun and fellowship. Under the
leadership of Donna Franklin and a leadership
team, you can count on many fun and exciting events
designed for fellowship, making friends, and to
strengthen your faith!
SMALL GROUPS – we have a variety of small groups meeting through out the Northern Shenandoah Valley area. We believe small groups is a great way to get connected with fellow believers and develop deep and meaningful friendships. Some of our small groups are sermon based groups where the discussion points are based on the previous week’s sermon as well as other groups that have targeted curriculum.
SINGLE PURPOSE
– we have a developing singles ministry geared
to meeting the specific needs and desires single
people have.
PRAYER MINISTRY– we believe prayer a basic foundation of your relationship with the Lord and prayer can be miraculous. We have a prayer ministry devoted to sharing prayer requests as well as a small group that helps people understand and develop their prayer life. This small group meets on Wednesday nights at the church at 7:00pm – 8:30pm. Pastor Sam LeMay leads the Prayer Ministry and you can reach him at (540) 896-4389.
MISSIONS MINISTRY–
The Missions Ministry is a growing ministry within
The Church of the Valley. The missions program
is a critical piece of the Lord’s work. Pastor
Steve Dawson leads the Missions Ministry and you
can reach him at 540-514-2940.
MUSIC MINISTRY– there are so many avenues to get involved in the music ministry of The Church of the Valley. We have music that ranges from choirs to contemporary.
TELEVISION MINISTRY– Pastor Jay’s weekly sermons are broadcasted on WAZT television. The Church of the Valley can be seen each Sunday at 7:00 am, Monday nights at 8:30 pm and Tuesday's at Noon in Warren County - channel 28; Shenandoah County - channel 10; and Frederick County - channel 48, and on Adelphia cable on channel 99 and Shentel Cable on channel 10.
