Self-description- Bald is beautiful. I enjoy experiencing God’s creation which includes kayaking, swimming, hiking, camping, biking, and all those other “Ings” that you do outdoors.
Want to be known as: A man who loves Jesus, his family and the church.
Being the Youth Pastor means I get to: Love who I am. Being a youth pastor isn’t what I do, it’s who I am. God has been preparing me for this since I was born. I get to love young people the way Jesus does and show them that being a Christian can be an adventure.
Your life before TCOV: I’ve been involved in Children and Youth Ministries for more than 24 years. I’ve served in “Mainline” denominational as well as non-denominational churches, both large and small. I’ve lost track of the number of children and students that the Lord has brought into my life. It has been a privilege to serve my Savior in this ministry.
You knew there was no turning back when: God gave me a vision of how he would use my gifts in ministry.
You come to work everyday because: God isn’t pleased with me when I don’t do what I’m suppose to do.
You're energized by: The Holy Spirit, He’s all over the “Energizer Bunny”.
You cringe when you see Christians: Talk a good talk but their walk stinks up the neighborhood and the church.

Pastor John Nadeau- is Pastor of Children and Youth Ministries
at
The Church of the Valley. He has over 24 years
experience in Children and Youth Ministry and
has pastored in the Winchester area as well as
Roanoke and Loudoun County, VA. He served as
Vice-President of More Than Conquerors
Ministries, an Inner-City ministry that met the
spiritual needs of at-risk children in
Winchester as well as assisting Teen Challenge
Ministry in Southeast, Washington D.C. Over the
years, Pastor John and his wife Donna have used
a Clown and Puppet ministry to present the
Gospel to children of all ages. He also led a
puppet team on a missions trip to St.Croix in
1993, and has led missions teams to Appalachia
and Jamaica and served as a site leader with
Jeremiah Project. Additionally, he has directed
many Children's Christmas Musicals which have
involved all ages. Pastor John and Donna have
been married for 29 years, have two adult
daughters, and live in Cross Junction, Virginia.
